Here we have AirFrance Co-Pilot Andre with crew -- Frank, Sophie, Anthony and Penelope -- trek out to watch the sunrise on a misty morning, their caravan returning back for hot tea and Egyptian breakfast.

Study-Abroad Students

We LOVE trekking with the students - always learning from them. Here's a wonderful group of American art students - in Florence this semester - incredible energy and spirit....LOL

They actually did TWO treks - the first one a camel caravan around the Pyramids when they first arrived in Cairo --and they sketched EVERYTHING! Then after travelling to Luxor and RedSea, they returned and camped out on our new rooftop villa to catch a Pyramids sunrise, then trekked to Saqqara by Arabian horse - galloping across the Sahara! Here's what they wrote in our guestbook:
